Using a fake mobile phone bowl can have life- hanging consequences. Put safety first with our essential companion to safer mobile phone charging.

Avoid leaving your phone charging unattended, particularly overnight

Unsafe mobile phone dishes have been criticized for a growing number of house fires in recent times. And with further than 1.8 million mobile phone dishes bought online in the UK each time, it’s easy to fall victim to fake and dangerous phone dishes.

Fake or poor quality phone dishes can be deadly – so follow our tips for safely charging your mobile phone.

1. Avoid cheap dishes
Phone dishes can be bought online for as little as a£ 1 – far cheaper than ingrained counterparts. But, there’s no guarantee they meet strict UK and EU safety norms.

Cheap phone dishes may explode formerly plugged into a wall socket – the result, say fire and safety experts, of cheap wiring and  sub-standard factors. They may also fail to charge your phone duly and indeed damage the phone’s battery.

2. Issues with universal dishes
Although numerous phones now use standard USB- connection dishes, avoid buying cheap universal dishes online that claims to work with a wide range of mobile phones and tablets.
Different mobile Bias generally bear varying situations of charge, so a single bowl may beget your phone’s battery to heat or charge less efficiently.

3. Buy genuine dishes
Despite being more precious, always buy an sanctioned bowl for your particular phone as they ’ll have been completely tested and meet UK safety norms.

You ’re not paying redundant just for the name – you ’re actually buying peace of mind.

Still, buy one from an approved, trusted brand, If you must use a third- party bowl.

4. Do n’t cover your bowl while in use
We ’ve all heard stories of phones bursting into dears or exploding while being charged. Along with using a genuine bowl, make sure nothing is covering your phone as it charges so that the heat generated is suitable to dissipate safely.

5. Do n’t leave a bowl plugged in late
Avoid leaving your phone charging unattended, particularly overnight.

While your phone is clever enough to stop taking a charge once the battery is full, a problem may do if the bowl itself overheats, especially if left on a ignitable face.

You ’ll be less alert to a fire breaking out when asleep. Install a bank sensor and check regularly that it’s in working order.

6. Check the bowl for damage
Rasped string? Loose connections? Shuddery draw legs? If your phone bowl looks worn or damaged, buy a new bone.

Damaged dishes pose a fire threat and could electrocute if you touch an exposed part of the bowl when plugging and freeing it.

7. Do n’t load sockets
Do n’t be tempted to plug several mobile phones and other bias into one wall socket using amulti-plug appendage. Long strip attachments are safer, but can take only a aggregate of 13 amps, so do n’t load them moreover.
